Nu Sentral

Nu Sentral is another shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. It is strategically located – in between KL Sentral and monorail station. Therefore, to travel from monorail station to KL Sentral, you will have to pass by this mall first.

It is also within walking distance from Kuala Lumpur’s Little India.

By Kuala Lumpur’s standard the mall is fairly modest. But there are still many shops around to satisfy your shopping needs. Plus there is a gym, a food court and a cinema too.

KL Sentral

KL Sentral is Kuala Lumpur’s main public transport hub. It also connects KL with Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang, Selangor via KLIA express train (ERL).

The journey from KL Sentral to KLIA takes approximately less than one hour or so. Been travelling with KLIA express couples of times and it was awesome. On the train there is a free wifi, fairly comfortable seat and enough space for you to put your luggage.

Light Rail Transit (LRT) train is also connected to this hub. So, if you want travel to any LRT stations on Gombak/Kelana Jaya/Putra Heights alignments head out to KL Sentral. LRT service is reliable, clean and moderately fast although it can be overcrowded during peak hours.

Besides, there is another train service operating here. KTM (Keretapi Tanah Melayu) or Komuter train. The train network reaches as far as Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and Tanjung Malim, Perak. Perhaps, travelling with KTM is a little confusing for a newbie. Therefore, do check the destination properly. Although the service is not up to par with LRT, especially in terms of timeliness and frequency, KTM is still a good option for many travellers.

Petronas Twin Tower

The sight never cease to amaze. Petronas Twin Tower: a Malaysian icon. A symbol of new architecture marvel.

A visit to Malaysia, especially to Kuala Lumpur is never complete if you miss this spot.

If you are travelling from KL Sentral, you can take the LRT train and get off at the KLCC station (Gombak bound) and it’s only a few minutes away.
